Dr Panda’s Games

My kids love the Dr. Panda games. If you have never tried any of the Dr. Panda games for your little ones you should. We have enjoyed the Airport, Beauty Salon, Daycare, Handyman, Supermarket and Garden.

Honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with these apps. Each game allows creative play in everyday settings and situations. The game play is a little repetitive but kids don’t seem to notice and stay entertained for hours. Lots of the Dr. Panda games offer trial versions too so you can see how you like them before purchasing.

Toca Hair Salon 2

Toca Boca is another app company that we love at our house. I’m a sucker for the creative play they provide for my children and have purchased many of these apps. My children’s favorite so far is the Hair Salon . You are given the choice of several different models and then given tools so you can choose how to cut, wash, color, style and accessories they different characters hair.

I love watching my kids creativity come out as they create different looks and experiment with the game. I think the best feature of most Toca Boca games is it just gives you the tools to play and then lets you go. There is no objective in the game other then to enjoy yourself and have fun creating.

Pepi Tree

Pepi Tree is a fun forest game. As you move through out the tree there are different mini games to play featuring forrest animals living in the tree. There are only a handful of games but they are well thought out and enjoyable.

Tizzy Seasons

Tizzy seasons is a very simple yet fun app. You get to choose which season to play and then each season has 4 or 5 mini games you can play. The games are themed around the seasons like raking leaves in the fall or blowing bubbles in the summer. The games are very easy for young children to play, but not so easy that they get bored playing it.

The Game of Life

If you enjoy the board game then you will definitely also enjoy the Life app. Play is similar to that of the board game with a few twists. To be fair my daughter can’t play this game by herself yet at five since she isn’t yet reading.  However, I added this to the list because it’s an app I can play with her. When we are sitting in the waiting room or stuck in the car this is a fun activity we can enjoy together.

Kaleidoscope Drawing Pad

Kaleidoscope drawing pad is one of the most fun drawing apps I have found. You simply start making a design and the apps mimics your movements to create a kaleidoscope affect. My kids enjoy making all sorts of different patterns with this. Honestly, when I’m bored I’ve found myself playing it too. What is even better about this app is its free so there really is no reason not to try it.

Fireworks Arcade

Firework arcade is the first app I try using when I want to entertain a young toddlers. You simply tap the screen to see a firework explosion. Toddlers love the bright colors and seeing the screen light up. I think it is just fun for them to see the cause and effect of their actions. They learn that when they tap the screen something is going to happen.

Fishes for Toddlers

Fishes for toddlers is the first game my son could play by himself. He was only one when he first started enjoying playing it.

It is a super simple game. Basically you tap the screen and a bubble with a fish appears, and then you tap it again to pop it. If you hold it down longer the bubbles grow bigger which is kind of a fun twist.

Honestly, I mostly like this because it is simple and easy for even the youngest of kids to play. It has been super convenient in those situations when you are trying to keep an active toddler quietly entertained like church or a waiting room. This app is also free so you can’t beat the price.

My PlayHome

My play home is just what it sounds like a virtual playhouse for kids. They can move the family member to different rooms in the house and explore the fun things to do in each room. It allows the children free range to play. There is no objective to it.

Kids Puzzles Puzzingo

Kids Puzzles Puzzingo is a really fun interactive puzzle game for kids. Its much more clever then the other children’s puzzle games I have seen.

Once you complete the puzzle you are then able to play a corresponding mini game which is an awesome twist. My Daughter could play this game for hours. The full version of this game is quite a bit pricer then most apps you’ll find but my kids love it.

Do your kids have a favorite app they love to play? I would love to hear. Please comment share!
